The OWCS Midseason Championship is approaching fast - and with it, the Last Chance Qualifier! The LCQ is the final opportunity for teams that didn’t directly qualify for the Midseason Championship - and only one team can punch their ticket. Let’s go over everything you need to know to follow along - and even participate yourself!
LCQ registration begins Thursday, June 12th, and is open to ANY team. All players must comply with the current OWCS rulebook, including the 2-import rule, and must declare for one OWCS region: NA, EMEA, Korea, Pacific, Japan, or China.
Teams already competing in an OWCS league across all regions (including FACEIT League Master Division teams from NA and EMEA) must use their Stage 2 roster if they choose to participate in the LCQ.
LCQ Registration is open now, and closes on July 5th. Head to the LCQ sign-up page here to join the tournament!
The LCQ takes place from July 17 to 19 in Riyadh, starting at 2pm AST each day. Teams will compete through a two-day Groups Stage and a single elimination playoff bracket, with the final victor earning the final ticket to the Midseason Championship - and their share of the $100,000 prize pool!
