After a year-long journey around the world, the Overwatch World Cup is ready for its final showdown. Sixteen teams battled through the Group Stage at the Busan Esports Arena, but only eight remain in the race to become the 2026 Overwatch World Cup champions.
Now, the world’s best are heading to BlizzCon for two days of unforgettable competition, music, drops, and one final chance to make history.

The eight teams advancing to the Overwatch World Cup Finals are:

Each team has already proven that they belong among the world’s best. At BlizzCon, only one will claim the gold medal and be crowned the 2026 Overwatch World Cup champion.
This year, the top seeds didn’t simply receive their opponents. For the first time, they played a role in deciding the bracket themselves.
During the Group Stage, the top-seeded teams from each group competed in a series of special 1v1 rounds that determined the order in which they could select their quarterfinal opponents. With those choices made, four high-stakes matchups are now locked in for the opening day of the Finals at BlizzCon.
The winners of each quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals on September 13, followed by the bronze-medal match and the Grand Final later that day.

Japanese music duo YOASOBI will take over BlizzCon for a special Overwatch World Cup halftime performance (in-room experience only) before the tournament reaches its final matches. Don’t miss this celebration of music, competition, and the global Overwatch community as we prepare to crown a new world champion.
YOASOBI’s halftime show is only part of the soundtrack to an unforgettable weekend. Two Overwatch World Cup tracks arrive on music platforms September 11, just in time for the Finals.
“Feel the Bassline” channels the energy of Southern California through its sun-soaked sound and driving beats. Fans may already recognize it as the track playing in the OWWC Cheer Rally event lobby.
Then, get ready to experience “Make History” like never before. The official Overwatch World Cup anthem has been reimagined by DJ and producer Ookay with an electrifying new remix built for the biggest stage. It will power the BlizzCon Arena throughout the weekend as the final eight teams come head to head for the world championship.
Stream both tracks everywhere beginning September 11, and get ready to hear the bass at BlizzCon.
The action extends beyond the stage, with on-site co-streamers broadcasting live from the arena all weekend, special guest appearances, and plenty of giveaways. Keep a close eye on the broadcast and Overwatch Esports social channels throughout the Finals, you don’t want to miss a beat.
