IntroductionThe 2026 OWCS Season is about to hit full speed! Earlier this year, we broke down all the details of this year’s competitive slate, including our new Partner Teams, updated Stage formats, and competition dates for all of our major regions. Now, the countdown begins to our three high-octane, in-person Live Events.
What’s in this blog:
Did you miss the Pre-Season Bootcamp in Seoul? Don’t worry, here’s a quick recap. We invited select OWCS teams to the T1 Esports Academy, so that they could be some of the first in the world to try Season 1’s five new heroes. They used that time to sharpen their skills for a three-day, single-elimination tournament that gave us our first glimpse into the meta prior to the start of Stage 1. There was also a purrfectly balanced showmatch with an epic ending that you won’t want to miss.
We also kicked off our Stage 1 Open Qualifiers, which served as a chance for teams in NA, EMEA, and Asia to see if they have what it takes to start their climb to the top. Dozens of teams competed for a chance to join our Partner Teams in the Regular Season.Congratulations to our first class of qualified Teams heading into Stage 1!
Here are NA and EMEA’s Stage 1 rosters. There was plenty of shuffling in the off-season, so get yourself up to speed before the action kicks off on March 21!

With our format locked and Teams set, here are some key dates for Stage 1 of the OWCS 2026 Season.
Stage 1’s regular season in NA and EMEA runs across three weekends of play, March 21-22, March 28-29, and April 4-5. Stage 1 Playoffs run from Apr 10-12, where a 4-team, double-elim bracket will decide each region’s Champions Clash teams.

For Asia, Korea, Japan, and the Pacific region will each compete in the Round Robin stage before advancing to the postseason. After the post season of each sub-region, the top 4 teams from Korea, top 3 teams from Japan, and the top team from the Pacific will qualify for the OWCS Asia tournament. From there, the top 2 teams will secure their place at the Champions Clash.
